Noise Cancelling: Headsets with noise-cancelling microphones are able to reduce the background noise when speaking by 95% for a very crisp clear speech. However when the user stops talking the microphone will pick up some of the background noise. It is an ideal choice for working in a noisy environment or open plan office. Most call centres would specify a noise-cancelling headset. This will also make the calls sound more professional.
On call Illumination: JPL offers a range of headsets with a red LED indication in the earpiece. When user is on the telephone the LED will illuminate to indicate to others that the headset is in use help prevent interruptions. For more information see the JPL MRC Professional range. Note: In most cases the purchase of the JRC11 amplifier would be required for correct operation.
USB 2 Connectivity: USB 2 latest technology offering the fastest speed’s giving the crispest possible sound. No separate drive required (Plug and play) for windows 98 plus. Direct USB 2 connection (No computer sound card required)
Clear Tube: One of the many types of microphones available in the market is the clear tube. Voice tube technology provides voice clarity with less weight then others. However, they are not true noise cancelling and will not filter out as much background noise when talking.
Quick inline Disconnect: This allows the user to disconnect the headset from the telephone and re-connect very quickly without loosing the caller. The MRC and Add-com headsets all have quick disconnect as standard and can be used with all bottom leads on offer.
High Comfort ear pad: The MRC range has a high quality oval ear shaped leatherette ear cushion for all day comfort. This is also important for Hygiene reason, which is why the ear cushions are easily replaceable so your Company can hold spares in stock. The Add-com headsets come supplied with a foam ear cushion standard. Leatherette ear cushions are available from the accessories list.
Over ear headband: The Newfonic range comes with a “surefit” adjustable headband with unique push-button release. These headbands were updated in January 2008 and are easily replaceable. The Add-com range also has Surefit headbands and the ADD-100 and ADD-200 have the push button headband release. The over ear headband is an option on the JPL Newfonic range but is included on the Add-com 100 and 200 series headsets.
