The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is the highest official UK award for British businesses. Launched in 1965, the awards programme celebrates British businesses who succeed in international trade, innovation and sustainable development.
Sustainable and future-proof headsets ready for the new normal
JPL Telecom manufactures top-quality telecom headsets, web cameras and video conferencing products, which can be used in the office, or at home.
Over the pandemic period, export sales for JPL Telecom Ltd have grown by 737%, totalling 46% of the company’s trade, running across Europe and the USA.
As organisations seek to become more sustainable, JPL Telecom’s patented, sustainable and future-proof headsets have received a lot of attention – including from The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.
Exceeding expectations in sustainable manufacturing
James Clarke, CEO and founder of JPL Telecom, is thrilled with the achievement.
“Due to rapidly evolving working environments, particularly the dramatic increase in people working from home, the demand for the effective and efficient solutions provided by JPL Telecom has never been greater. It is a great honour for us to realise that the UK government has noted this significant milestone and presented us with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise,” said Clarke. “Our route to market is the same internationally and domestically — customer satisfaction and partner relations are our top priorities, we would not survive without exceeding people’s expectations”.
