We are happy to announce the release of the updated BT500D Bluetooth headset
Designed for both music and speech

BT500D

A true audio telephony headset using premium speakers designed for music and speech with stereo A2DP sound for punchy music and mono sound for lifelike speech.

The BT500D is part of our Element range of communication headsets and uses our patented interchangeable headband design that allows you to change from dual speaker headband to a single speaker headband in seconds and even during a call. The modularity of the BT500D increases the life of the headset and reduces the long-term cost of ownership.

New for September 2021, the BT500D now includes both our BT-220 Bluetooth Dongle, our A-01 USB-A to USB-C adapter for secure connection to computers, mobile phones, tablets, and IP phones, a 65mm leatherette ear cushion, and a padded headband for better all-day wearing comfort.

The microphone has Surround Shield™ noise cancellation technology for improved clarity of speech. You can see this in action in the video below.

JPL Software Last Approach

The JPL software last approach and why we have chosen not to include call accept and reject functions on all our USB headsets.
Call accept and reject is available on some of our headsets and USB bottom leads, however, the most popular solution is with volume and mute controls only, so it can work on any softphone straight out of the box.
